When Tyler came along only 18 months after his older brother Morgan was born, it was a promising outlook with them being so close in age. They would be doing so many things together – school, sports, everything.

I wouldn’t change that looking back, but when it came to back-to-back graduations and other big milestones, well, the finances get a little stressy but what a blessing it is to watch your children grow up and out.
Tyler planned to go to Penn State, Berks Campus to begin college as an undeclared Science Major.

And just as he started his college career, he also began dating Greta Bailey. Though they had already known each other for almost 10 years since our families go to the same church, Zions, they began their relationship on September 9th.

During his college career, Tyler worked for his dad at Kassay Field Service doing various jobs in the office – everything from cutting the grass of the property to assembling retro-cubes for the FTIR spectrometers.

By his second year at Penn State Berks, Tyler declared his Major in ElectroMechanical Engineering and was able to begin an internship with an engineering firm in Lancaster, TRC Inc., along with a former Schuylkill Valley friend and college mate, Scott. After his third year in college year and one-year interning for TRC, they offered Tyler a full-time position upon graduation. In the interim, he got so much swag from TRC – I was impressed!
And why not add one more milestone while working on this one? He and his girlfriend Greta got engaged!

After a few final semesters making Dean’s List and having a career at the ready, Tyler graduated from Penn State with a B.S. in ElectroMechanical Engineering.

Steve and I couldn’t be prouder of Tyler. He always worked hard in school, with the right amount of discipline and self-motivation, and was blessed along the way. God is good.
And that’s a wrap – 2 boys down and 2 boys to go! Did I mention that Christian graduated from High School only a month later? (insert big-eyed emoji here!)
